Appleseed & Tulsa's Mayoral Election

This RWVA invitation to President Obama to attend Appleseed got me to thinking that it would be interesting to invite Tulsa's Mayoral Candidates to participate in the Appleseed event at USSA scheduled for the same weekend. Thoughts?

By invitation to participate, I mean show up, spend the day(s) receiving instruction, practicing the drills and shooting just like everyone else; not showing up for the photo-op, glad handing, campaigning, making a speech and abruptly leaving before the event is over or even really gets underway as politicians are want to do.

Sure, sounds good to me. Does anyone have their contact info? I will send them an invitation. I don't want to help any pol do a photo op, but we'd be glad to have them if they want to sign up and participate. If anybody needs to hear the story of April 19th, 1775, it is the type of people who mean to govern others.

One of the candidates (hint: a female) was a member of Mayors Illegally Against Guns (run by Nanny Bloomberg, wanna-be Minister of Day-toDay Activities in the Brave New World).

Recently, she posted on her FB page that she is a lifetime NRA member, CCW permit holder and staunch supporter of the second amendement when questioned about her MAIG involvement. Surely such a staunch 2A supporter and firearms aficionado would jump at the chance to participate in an Appleseed rifle clinic?

I would, especially if it's free! Psh, heck if I were a Mayor I'd be all over some firearms classes.
