i saw some wolf brand ammo getting stuck in the barrel of an ar. had to use a rod to knock the caseing out. we ran several boxes of monarch throught them fine, and then used the wolf and it wouldnt run right. the bolt stripped back the casing and left it in the barrel. i have seen this problem.

there is a video of someone using a blow torch on some spent cases and the lacquer doesn't come off. The lacquer seal on the primers does however. Shoot what works for you and is abundant. Wolf, monarch, mil surp.. Its all good...well except amerc, but do they make a .223? if so, run like the wind.

It was my ar that the wolf shell was stuck in. Shot alot of fed bulk through with no problem. I think it was like my 2nd wolf that locked my rifle up tighter then a drum. After I got the shell out (thanks to people here, you guys are great) I have shot more fed bulk without any problem. I know others have no problem with wolf or brown bear but I will only use brass in mine. I will reserve the steel casings for my ak's.
Thanks

I have seen a caseing stuck in the barrel and would not come out. Causing the owner to buy a new barrel. It is okay to shoot it in small doses. If it was my rifle I would clean every 150-250 rounds just for safety.

Some AR's seem to shoot better with different ammunition. My rifle hates wolf and loves xm193's but my girlfriends AR shoots Wolf flawlessly.

Be careful. Safe Shooting!
