I’ve been reading the Joe Pickett book series. One of the characters is a master falconer. I would love a chance to watch hunting raptors in action. Anyone here practice falconry?

We have a kestrel hanging around our place, I'd never seen one before and didn't know what it was. Really pretty bird.
He was sitting on one of our blue bird houses with a mouse in his talons.

I dearly love to watch those birds in action. If you get into it, or find some falconers, let us know. I'd travel some to watch them. There is a lot involved, and it takes a lot of time.

Some of my friends do as well, they’re always willing to let interested parties, tagalong, and help beat the brush to scare up the rabbits.
