Arkansas River between Ralston OK and Keystone Lake?

Does anyone know what the Arkansas river is like between Ralston Oklahoma and where it runs into Keystone Lake? I'm thinking of trying a kayak camping trip through that area.

If you go this weekend, you might have some water. Kaw lake has been releasing a little water on occasion. Lots of rain in Kansas.
I was at the river where red rock creek dumps into the arkansas this morning at our pumping station, just a few inches of water flowing.

This would be a good spot to load up after your trip. I think Blackburn has some public land on the river thats about half way.

Hmmm.. So there isn't even enough water to kayak. Looking at the sattelite view it apeared to be pretty wide and deep.

Glad I asked. Could you guys recommend a good stretch of river somewhere in oklahoma that wouldn't involve dragging a kayak and has some catfish in it?

If you are referring to the navigational channel, I think it would be nuts to be in a kayak with all the barge traffic on that river.
