Armour canned chili

7 cans with beans exp 3/23/24
10 cans without exp 12/5/25

At one time my oldest couldn't get enough of this stuff. Momma gave him a can of my Wolf brand and now he won’t touch the blue cans. Been sitting in the pantry too long. I hate to throw out food (a trait that was beat into my head by grandparents that lived thru the Great Depression).

Good Lord I'm glad my wife doesn't visit this forum. She'd eat those ones with beans in em and it would sound like a duck sanctuary at my house for a week!

Never tried Armour chili always bought wolf or home made even thou i love it but it dont like me so a little goes a loooooong way with me.

Actually prefer the Armour for open faced cheeseburgers and Wolf for hotdogs.

Look for the Hormel "Angus" chili.

Not their regular long time chili. If the can does not say "Angus" on it, don't buy that one.

Their Angus beef chili is much better, muy bien.

I have not eaten their chili in a long time. Back then it was very greasy so I only ate it when there was nothing else. Nowadays I usually eat homemade venison chili or Aldi's canned when I want something quick.

We have a small Mom & Pop grocery here that makes their own chili and sells it in 1# bricks and if you show up when they are making it you can get a container of it hot and ready to eat.
