I've got a Hogue OTF .....good knife. Some places are gung ho on the CYA. I sent an automatic knife in to Hogue (yes they makes great knives in addition to pistol grips). They accepted the knife and even repaired it for free even though I bought it used, but they made me have it shipped to my FFL to get it back. Mine only charges 10 bucks so no big deal but I've seen some FFL's ask 50.00 or more for a transaction.
There it is, I was reading circles around what you just said. It helps having sounding boards like this here.Optics Planet is following the law, Federal law, while other sellers are available who do not worry since nobody is being prosecuted, while I would imagine many of those same sellers will not ship to states or city/localities where illegal and with a DA who might go after them. Just shop elsewhere, as others have said. But Federal law is clear, no interstate traffic in autos except to military and police, whether legal to possess in your state or not.
I like the Knife Center; the only reason I haven’t ordered from them is because they’ve always been more expensive than BladeHQ and SMKW on what I wanted to order.I recommend this place.
Shooting surplus is where I purchased my cobra tech Otf knives
