The inconvenient truth here is that credit cards and any sort of "payment processor" system has always been ancillary to using cash.
In other words, none of our rights are being violated by them implementing this because if you have a debit or CC in your wallet, you at one point got a card issuer agreement that explained how it all works, and buried in the legalese it says that you are at mercy of their policies. It's really no different than being deplatformed on social media, paypal, or ebay for being a conservative gun owner.
