Leon held this bunch of hippie maggots together well. I pretty much despise everything those dirtbags stand for, but the music is top notch.

Leon is one if my all time favorites. Saw him in LA as a High School kid. Took my son to an OKC nightclub venue while he was in college. Singing his sings kept me awake on guard duty in the Marine Corps many a night.

Leon was really cool. Eric covered the infamous JJ Cale’s After Midnight and Cocaine as you probably know. He and Leon helped create the Tulsa music sound for sure.
Took my son to Buffalo Run (Outdoor stage) to see Skynard. After the opening act manager came out and said Leon would play at midnight inside and your tickets would get you in. At the time I was working overnights and couldn't stay. He passed before I got to see him.
