Me too. Hopefully get a new gun with a newly threaded barrel dialed in. Enjoy that bench time!Tomorrow for me. Time to go out and quietly shoot some things.

Didn’t get the barrel back in time for rifle season, darn it. Put a 3 pound MCarbo trigger kit in it. Finally had a chance to dial it in
I had a buddy call on Friday and ask if I could sight in/check zero on a couple rifles, because “he doesn’t have time”. I agreed, and he brought them out yesterday afternoon. One is a Bergara B14 270 Win with a Leupold HD5 3-15, and the other is a 6.8spc AR with an ATN Thor thermal. I didn’t know anything about the thermal, and the guy couldn’t remember how all the control worked either. I had to google the manual, and it wasn’t horribly complicated. The Bergara was good, but I had to adjust the thermal a little but still only needed 5 shots to get it on.
There was a small ribbon cutting ceremony for the inaugural voyage of my mobile shooting bench, and it works great. All the AR brass ended up inside the trailer, so I didn’t have to hunt for it in the pasture.

The last time I fired a shot was during Nebraska's deer season. 270 WSM with 122gr tipped Hammer Hunter going 3450 fps. One shot, about 100 yards, he ran in 1 1/2 circles and piled up 25 yards from where I hit him. Tall 5x4 with little tiny mule deer nubs for brow tines....a little cross breeding going on I think....
