I have a bergara in 6.5 creedmoor. It sucks carrying it out in the field because of the weight, but once you get to use it, you'll see why it costs the amount that it does. Recoil is like a bolt action .22 mag or less and all controls are like butter.

It's a crap shoot
Haters vs. lovers
You gots to understand half of the people on the Internet never shot past a hundred yards if that far.
Most only played call of duty on the Internet.
I agree, but what i was referring to was smoothess and accuracy claims. 1 guy bought 2 for his sons and they were gret, a year later bought another one for himself and it was crap. Not smooth or accurate.

I own 2 B14 r22. One is a carbon fiber barrel the other is a heavy target barrel. Mounted one in a magpul stock the other is mounted in KRG adjustable stock. Both have Trigger Tech triggers. They shoot wonderfully and far better than I’m capable of. They definitely aren’t going any where
That said, the magazines in both will sometimes require an extra tap before chambering the first round. Have no idea why but it’s just part of both of them.

Owned a Anschutz benchrest heavy barrel target . Sold it here on OS to a gentleman who loves them.
Right now I believe these two have a chance to hang with the Anny.

I posted this in the “last time you fired a shot” but remembered this thread and thought I’d pass along today’s Bergara experience. A friend who’s supposedly too busy to sight in and clean his own guns asked me to do it, and one of them is a Bergara B-14 270 Win topped with a Leupold HD5 3-15. The fit and finish was fine (no better or no worse than about any other production rifle I’ve messed with), but I’m absolutely not a fan of the rubberized stock. In my opinion, that cheapens the gun.
Overall though for a $750ish rifle, it was a good shooter with factory ammo.
