Bersa Thunder any good?

I have the .380 Hi-Cap and absolutely love it. Just about all the guys I work with have a Bersa in some form.

I owned one, and I generally liked it except that it would always jam every 30 to 50 rounds. Because of that, I could not trust my life to it, and I sold it.

They did have issues with mags in the second or third big run of them (if memory serves me correctly). It was easily correctable with a new mag, but I know exactly what you're talking about with the "can't trust it" factor after that happens.

I've always wondered about the bersa's myself. I'm glad to see that the majority of people have had good things to say about them. I may have to consider one for the future.

I liked mine. Felt real nice and shot okay for what it's built for.

Only problem is the slide seemed to be made of softer steel than it should have been. After several boxes of ammo I also had problems with the slide not staying open and noticed the notch that catches the slide open was somewhat rounded and wouldn't always stay open if there was any oil on it.
