What do you plan to use the bullets for? Targets and plinking?
200 grain lead SWC; close to H&G #68 if possible. If I could only have 1 bullet for all 45acp use, that would be it.
If you want the best feeding reliability for a variety of 45 auto pistols, then 230gr lead round nose is probably the safer choice.
With lead availability being a current and future issue, I'd try to make the 200gr LSWC work for 45acp.
That would be 30gr less lead per bullet plus I strongly prefer the SWC shape for all-round use.
Cast it softer for the most accurate target loads (at target velocities). Cast it hard for max velocity loads including defense use if you lack good JHPs.

Thanks for the info, Think i will try 200 GR. SWC. I have always cast SWC for my .44 Mag. Rev. So may as well try it in my auto's.
