I will admit that I read in another forum that they played this game. Now I know for sure to stay away from them:

The Great Panic of 2012/2013 has been exposing the weaknesses of a lot of e-commerce operations. They can't keep accurate stock numbers in their web stores. Business logic errors that are no big deal on a slow day can quickly get out of hand when you're selling 100x your usual volume.

Then, you're so busy packing and shipping (while taking even more orders, and trying to get in your own orders to restock) you've got little time left to deal with screwups.

I bought some .223 from them on Dec 26th. But I called and inquired first and they said they had 58 boxes of PMC on the shelf. I bought 20 boxes so we will see.

Might have been a debit card. Authorization holds are commonplace.

I had no prior experience with TargetSportsUSA but recently was in need of some Glock mags. I should have ordered them before the frenzy, yes, but didn't for some reason. Most every online vendor was out of these particular mags but TargetSportsUSA showed them as in stock at a non-gouging price so I took a gamble. I got an email from them today that my order has shipped.

So at the present time I have no problems with them but am anxious to see if the correct order arrives.

I ordered some ammo and mags on Dec. 19th and just got it today. Transaction seemed to go ok.
