Stopped in LGS for a peek this weekend. Big sale in progress. Ruger LCP (no laser) $377.00, box of 50 PMC 9mm $49.95, Colt AR15 (basic 6920) $3000.00. Just thought everyone would like to know.

BIG SALE? WOW I would hate to see their regular prices.
Do they buy used? If so Armslist is a great place to buy on the cheap.
They had at least a hundred boxes of that cheap 9mm for $49.95. I asked him if he was kidding, he said no and I just laughed at him. I said "Wow! That Colt has tripled in price in 4 weeks". Laughed again!

I stopped in there once two or three years ago... Couldn't believe the prices then. Might as well be Gun World West
Savage has always been 40% higher than everyone else on everything they sale. I used to go in there on occasions to see what they had, but it was so hard to purposely spend that much more money. Especially when it was 40% off down the road. They lost a customer (or non buying customer) in December when they were the first to jump on the price gouging. I laughed when they said their Pmags were $29.00. Their sole reasoning was because CTD was selling them for $52.
I understand the idea of the free market, but it goes both ways. I appreciate the shops that take care of their customers.

It was my first time in there and was pretty impressed at first. Had plenty of guns, ammo and accessories. Those were the only items I really remembered the prices on. I doubt I will ever visit their showroom again. I say "show room" because it's definitly not a sales floor.

Not to mention the owner is a jerk, had many dealings with him and was never satisfied with the outcome. He actually got mad that i wanted paper work for a gun I had him send in for factory work (Jam every other round). He seemed to think I was crazy and being unreasonable to ask for proof he had my pistol. Said "well if you really need it I can, but you dont have to worry you'll get it back" and took it personal when I said wanted proof all the same.
