Biometric safes

Has anyone come across any information around the reliability of Biometric safes?

My experience with biometrics is that if they are consumer grade and affordable they are not very reliable. The ones that are reliable are not affordable.

I bought one at the big show a couple of years ago. Didn't work when I got home(should have been a clue). Took it back they gave me a fresh one and made sure it was working properly before I left. Only lasted a couple of months. Save your money please n

I read an article that stated if your relying on a biometric to open in a crisis you've got problems. Your body will dump adrenalin, your palms will sweat, and your safe WILL NOT OPEN. Day to day ok but are you willing to take the chance that you can accurately predict your attempted victimization?
