Dammit... I'ma need to get me a 4WD. Anyone got a cheap little 4x4 Toyota p/u or an old Scout for sale? As long as it's got a heater....

My 95 has 290000 miles+.

It could be for sale one of these days. Doesn't use a drop of oil yet.

What suxs is that I have to go out in it and work very long hours, no play time. When the wind/snow/ice tear down the powerlines, we are on top of the poles.putting it back up. One of these days it will be.my turn by the fire, sitting in the dark and smiling.

Would you rather work OT replacing poles after the May storms?

Snow is OK, but no ice storms, too much damage and too hard on the elderly.

My bro in law was a lineman for over thirty years and would rather work any other type of work than and ice storm.

Bring it on hard, heavy, and deep. The snow that is. I absolutely love cold weather and the snow. I've been waiting for another good winter for a few years. As cool as it's been, relatively, this summer, I sincerely hope we have a good winter. Kill all the bugs at least
