Been doing a lot of shopping across multiple sites and I need the opinion of this board.

If an individual buys a gun and never fires it, then decides to sell it, is it still BNIB or is it LNIB?

Neither. LNIB is a made up used gun marketing term. If a gun is new you have to do a 4473, but a 4473 doesn't mean it is new (used guns can have them too). If it doesn't have a 4473 it is used. Plain and simple.

If it has no rounds through it, that means at least a box. If it only has X number of rounds that number is really X times 10.

I agree with DG here. Its like how "curvy in all the right places" really means super fat on dating sites.

I recognize a gun in either of 2 conditions, new and not new. The condition of not new determines my price.

LNIB is subjective and instantly gets dismissed as someone trying to market their gun. My Glock 23 has over 10k rounds through it, I have taken very good care of it. I guess I could say it is like new in the box.
