I've got a little Grizzly Tracker 14 foot aluminum boat. When I bought it, it didn't have a motor, so I want a motor. Now I'm a motor boatin son of a *****, but dont know what size motor would work for what I want. It can have up to a 40 horse on it, but the bank account says no it can't! All I am going to be doing is puttering up and down the river running jugs, a lil crappie fishin and duck huntin. A 25 horse is reasonable price, but I could save a grand on a 15. I dont want to get too small, but its not like I'm goin to be pulling a skiier with this thing, or trying to get it to plane out. How much power do I need for a boat like that?
