All news outlets reported, and officials at the press conference confirmed that they've been in contact with Obama and he has promised all resources necessary. What else can he do, though? Saying anything else and people here would jump on him for politicizing this event.
Odd that they have a suspect. I wouldn't have expected a jihadist to take that route. Maybe LEOs apprehended him before he blew himself up. It will be interesting to see how he is treated and interrogated. We will probably get to witness a celebrity in the making.

one thing an official said is that many spectators and participants left their bags at the race site while fleeing and that the police are treating each of those as a potential threat. sounds like the search will take a while.
