BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma - Broken Arrow police are looking for two men in a residential burglary. Police say they were called to the 500 block of North Aster Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. Friday on a burglary in progress.
The homeowner told officers two men forced their way into her home, according to a news bulletin from Corporal Leon Calhoun, Broken Arrow Police Department.
The woman said she her a knock at her door and looked out to see two men she didn't know.
"She heard one of the suspects state that dogs were in the house, which made the homeowner uneasy," Calhoun said. "She retrieved a revolver, and shortly after the suspects kicked in the front door."
One of the men had a gun as well, the homeowner told officers.
She fired three shots at the men, and they ran to a '90s model Ford passenger car with dark tinted windows and a sunroof, according to police.
There was no information on whether the men were wounded.
Police are looking for two white males in their mid 20s, both about 5'8". One has short, light-colored hair and was wearing a dark sweatshirt. The other man has brown hair and was wearing a dark gray or blue sweatshirt.
