I hope to God I never have to shoot anyone in my home who is uninvited but they sure as heck will have lead poisoning with as many of doses I can give to them. And to that homeowner you did the right thing.

If the homeowner got off several shots at the two me, then they shouldn't be too hard for the police to track with blood hounds. I know if someone took a couple of shots at me, they could easily track me using my discarded underwear.....that is unless the dog turned his nose up at it. There are some things even a dog won't sniff.

Agreed. I would have filled them with double ought shells and then dragged them out onto the front lawn and kicked them in the balls for bleeding in my house.

This kind of thing scares the crap out of me. I have a 151/2 yr old daughter I don't leave her at home by herself. I work from home a few days a week, I have dogs (big ones) and guns but it would be a bad day all around if I had to shoot some A-hole trying to get in to my house. I am happy the lady just started shooting and didnt ask questions.
