Seeing lots of fat deer this year - I mean REALLY fat! The buck I processed over the weekend had more fat than I had ever seen on a white tail.
I think my favorite pic in the bunch is the doe. She's got white trim wrapped up under her legs, and hoof tops as well. Hope I get some more pics of her. On a side note, this is first year in 5 years that I've not gotten a pic of this doe below. Fatty with a half tail. She should have been 7 or 8yo this year.

Finally getting some bucks............a doe with a bizarro throat patch, fat a$$ Jabba coon and a cat. Some broken bucks. Toad buck is fattttttttty. Dennis, did you have a pic of the buck in the fifth pic down? Every buck pic that I can see a tarsal on, is still white. Date/times not correct.

I've been told by a couple of "old timers" that fat whitetails are a sure sign of a harsh winter head.

Great pics Okie! Fat and happy! Man I need to get a couple of those DLCCovert cameras, they take great pics. You order them online? Don't believe I have ever seen one in a store.
