Seeing lots of fat deer this year - I mean REALLY fat! The buck I processed over the weekend had more fat than I had ever seen on a white tail.

I think my favorite pic in the bunch is the doe. She's got white trim wrapped up under her legs, and hoof tops as well. Hope I get some more pics of her. On a side note, this is first year in 5 years that I've not gotten a pic of this doe below. Fatty with a half tail. She should have been 7 or 8yo this year.

Guess I had a pic of fatty last year too???? Looks like the same buck, blurry pic I took from the stand with cell phone last year. Guess he didn't progress antler wise if it's the same buck.

Finally getting some bucks............a doe with a bizarro throat patch, fat a$$ Jabba coon and a cat. Some broken bucks. Toad buck is fattttttttty. Dennis, did you have a pic of the buck in the fifth pic down? Every buck pic that I can see a tarsal on, is still white. Date/times not correct.

Look at the gut on this guy. Jeeze what a pig!

I've been told by a couple of "old timers" that fat whitetails are a sure sign of a harsh winter head.

Not sure I believe it, but one can hope. LOVE cold, wet, snowy, wintry weather.

As old as he is, his antlers are on the decline. I bet your son can shoot that crossbow. He would be an awesome trophy, survived many deer seasons.
