Can someone explain this 20 minutes response time

this is my argument with ever gun bragging liberal. Are you willing to bet your life on the average response time of 5-7 mins? I personally am not and refuse to be a victim.

When i lived in some apartments in moore, there was a shooting and multiple police were on scene in under 2 minutes. After about 5 minutes i think every officer in the city was there walking around with their ar15.

You didn't have an answer, but that didn't stop you from shooting off at the mouth (reference my above quote). Yes SOP's have changed in the past 13.5 years since Columbine, as seen in the Wisconsin Sihk temple and Ogden mall shootings. Awe, you're calling me schit, that's cute. According to CNN (http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2012/12/us/sandy-hook-timeline/?hpt=hp_c2) it took 20 minutes for first responders to show up at the Newtown school.

This seems bizarre to me: we live way out in the middle of Nowhere in NE OK, but are less than 15 minutes away from any MWAG call (I know, for a fact).

How can it take 20 minutes to show up at a big school, back in suburbia???

This makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

Can anyone shed any light in this?? Am I crazy???
