Can you tell me a little more about the Lexington Range, does it have a 100 yard for rifle? I hope...

Yes it has multiple 100 yard spots and you do need a valid Oklahoma hunting license to shoot there.
Concrete shooting benches that do not wiggle and they have built in adjustable seats for your bottom to sit on.

Heard the NRA donated $10,000 to fix it up and the state prisoners built the seats and gun racks. It's really nice compared to what it once was.

Apparently so - when I used to go there it wasn't much more than a few rough tables and target stands but heard they [NRA] did a nice job making a range out of it

It was a trash dump pretty much 15 years ago, people would back in there and dump TV's and stuff. Then shoot them.

I retired from the engineering firm that did the design and oversaw construction of the range. I don’t know if the NRA donated any money. But, I do know the majority of the money came from the US Fish and Wildlife Service through a grant. The grant money is available from excise taxes on firearms and ammunition authorized by the Pittman-Robertson Act.
