Most of the valve kits are universal. I've used this kit on every toilet I ever fixed.
Thats exactly right. All are universal in my experience.

Lowe's and Home Depot do not have anything that lists my toilet in the compatible unit list.

You will have to order it from Kohler.

I had a Kohler toilet, the same flush valve was going bad and finally gave up.

I tossed the Kohler and went with a Delta Foundations, parts are readily available off the shelf.

Was able to do a chat with Kohler and found the kit on their website. Expedited shipping only cost me $30, which is $10 more than the product cost. Oh well, we can survive with four people and one bathroom for three days, I hope. :anyone:

So I have a leaky flush valve on a Kohler Cavata F4835 toilet and I can't seem to find a valve that says it will fit? Any plumbers in the house want to direct me?
A pic of the toilet tank, the fill valve is brand new (a month or so) but the flush valve is original.
