I had issues with flat base bullets until I set my case necks up with no more than .003" neck tension and Use the Lyman vld chamfer tool.

When I used the RCBS rocket ship tool I was peeling guilding metal off the bullets during seating and accuracy suffered.

Get the Lyman case prep center.

That is one of the best tools I ever purchased for reloading. Its is a heavy serious tool. Compared to the others I have seen first hand of the hornady, rcbs and frankford arsenal. The Lyman is winner hands down.
