I realize it’s just a gratuitous joke, but anyone who believes they are not overwhelmed needs to adjust their tin foil hat.Or I’ve just been imagining it every day at work.

where hospitals are traditionally packed this time of year
it's hard to deny the number of folks flat scared to go to hospitals.
and resulting complications that could have been taken care of
perhaps things are changing where folks are not as scared to visit the hospital. let's hope so ..
Census is usually higher this time of year than the summer. But never this high. In 40 yrs, I’ve never seen ICU’s have sustained overflow vents into the recovery room, clinic rooms, etc. because there are no icu beds available. Or not enough nurses or hospitalists to cover the shifts. When I walk thru the icu these days, I don’t recognize half the nurses or docs because they are travelers. Seen docs & nurses crying from the burnout of too many patients & the volume of deaths. Never seen anything like this before & ive worked in 4 states on both coasts since the 70’s. People may be scared to go to the hospital, but if they go they will be lucky to find an open bed. You can go, but will prob be admitted & stay in the Er for days waiting for a bed to open up on the floors. I’m hoping things will calm down by spring, cause this s##t is unprecedented. Not looking forward to Monday.....

this is so dumb. The incident rate for bells palsy for vaccine recipients is actually less than the incident rate for Bell’s palsy in the general population. You cannot say the nurse got Bell’s palsy from the vaccine. It’s just another anti Vaxer conspiracy theory.
