It's funny you posted this. I spent part of yesterday researching to see if Bushmaster was owned by a publically traded corporation so I could short-sell their stock. Unfortunately, Bushmaster is owned by Cerberus Capital Management who merged them with their Freedom Firearms International (FGI), all private equity group owned.

Yep, and the fact that it was a Bushmaster rifle is why they're selling. Too bad they aren't a public company.
