May be interested in selling some of my guns or parts.

I have looked at a couple pawn shops locally and they have ARs in the $700 range! Are they that expensive? I swear I built my PSA part rifles cheaper than that.

Would it make more sense to try and take them to a pawn shop to sell? Or an actual gun store? Consignment if that is possible? Or PPT? I just moved to OK, so I don't know what the requirement is for a PPT here.

Private sales are legal in OK. There is no background check requirement for a private sale.

You can advertise them for sale on this forum by meeting a minimum time requirement as a member or by becoming a supporting member. I have decent luck selling items here.

Or, you can take them to a gun shop that offers consignment services. Of course, you'll have to pay them a fee for each item sold.

so for the PPT, it doesn't have to go through an FFL? Without the FFL doing a background check, how would I know if the buyer was a prohibited person or not?

would it make sense to try and sell to a pawn shop? or will they just grossly undervalue?

Deal with established members here. We have a feedback system that you can check. Click on a username and it will open a box that has the info on how long they have been a member and the feedback rating.
No FFL requirements in Oklahoma. Welcome to free America.

IMO in Oklahoma it is not required for you to know or not know, pretty sure a thousand guns was just sold at Wannamachers this last weekend thru private sales with no questions asked. You still have that freedom in Oklahoma. Pawn shops are not in business to give you a good deal. the offer will be 1/4 to 1/2 of your value then they mark it up 100%. I stop by a local pawn shop or local gun store on my way home most days if I have time. A buddy of mine did pick up a ar15 for $500 the other day, at a pawn shop.
I would have sold one of mine for $500

Can you sell a completed 80% ?

No go on the completed 80%. It would have to go through an FFL
So for the 80, would I have to register it to me? Or how does that work? It has no markings on it at all

Or, I'll just keep the 80% and sell my anderson and aero lowers, lol

My spike's zombie is still a CA registered assualt weapon, so i'll keep that if I ever need to go back for any reason

You would need to consult with an FFL. I believe it will need to have a serial number added to it (of your choosing) and then transferred through an FFL
