One thing consistent with gun control advocates. Their actions are stupid and will not get the intended result. Enforcing the law and strict penalties for crimes with firearms is beyond their comprehension. I doubt many gang bangers will be turning in any guns.

Seattle did this a few years ago and people lined the streets and paid people more than the $100 Walmart gift card that the police were offering.

Another bad thing about this I bet there will be some nice valuable guns turned in.
