Great movie. I drive by the plant a few times a week. It’s now owned by Kalidy and is for lease. Not bad hunting land
I used to work security at the downtown building during the protests after she was gone. I drove Mr McGee home several times when the weather was bad. He was quite the character and was always mad they didn’t want him to drive himself. I think there was definitely somebody involved in her “accident”.
That is a quite a deal. I remember it being on the News a lot when I was a kid in the 70's. Then the Movie with Meryl Streep came out in the 80's.
I wonder if those fellows and her old friends sharing there first hand information risk demise like Karen.
You know there are probably still People who know exactly what happened to Karen and fear being exposed.
I have not made it all the way thru the Article yet, but I will.

I was in an EPA Region 7 sponsored workshop on situation management and communication and the Kerr/Silkwood case came up in class discussion.
The EPA mgmt squashed all talk about it rather aggressively and the more anyone pressed the topic the more firm the EPA became to the point class attendees were told they would be asked to leave for continuing talking about it.
Last day of class somebody wrote
"SILKWOOD" on a whiteboard with dayglow green highlighter LOL

I have my own theories about Karen and they are not in line with Kerr McGee's version.
The accident was a typical she fell asleep, runnded offn the road and got kilt.
Yeah right. She was headed to a meeting with a reporter. I'll bet her heart was pumping and her hands were sweating.
