Hobbes, pull your head out. Pull it out now. We need you to believe.

Got any kids, JB?
Do you think they have or will have the same opportunities that you did?
Or are you one of those that don't care what kind of future we hand our children?
Because it's not looking like much now.
And I'll bet you think it's hilarious. :brick:

Think what is hilarious? The conspiracy theories? The constant paranoia? The fact that American industry took a while to compete on the global market? (ie. the auto industry getting the crap kicked out of it in the late 70's-80's) The fact that the US government has failed to protect American business or the fact that the American people do want to support American businesses?

What exactly are you asking me that I find hilarious?

America wants what it wants. What man, by keyboard, can change this?
But say you had a friend who was ill, and loved to inform you of this. How has your friend helped themselves? But if you ask the friend "Have you taken any medicine for your illness?" and they say no, then compel that friend to take medicine.

There was a man who did not sow, did not tend, and did not reap. When harvest time came, he had nothing to show for it. He went before his friends and family and said "We did not sow, we did not reap." He went on saying this until none would stand to be near him, for the man would not stop speaking, even to sow late-season seed to help his condition. The others had sowed some, and reaped some. Some had sowed much and reaped much. But if you have not sown, you can reap nothing. The man who did not sow his seed was intent on sowing discord, but reaped rejection.

How does sowing your wild oats and planting your seed fit into this philosophy? Some fields may be extremely fertile and the sower may reap much more of a harvest than he anticipated. Some fields may be fallow and the sower may be waqsting his seed. Still other fields may have infestations, which could attach themselves to the sower's tools and unknowningly sully other lush and fertile fields...:w000t:

All I'm thinking from that is the scene from "Man of the House" (Tommy Lee Jones) where the Mexican girl complains that she can't have phone sex because he's taking away their cell phones...
