i don't have any problems except the "politics from the pulpit". both of my grandparents were active ordained ministers on my dads side. that is one of the things that is/was frowned on. if you want to belong to a pro-gun church, then i say go ahead, more power to you.

I have no problem with politics from the pulpit. I hope the Christian leaders can get this country back on track. It was the ministers of the Black Robe Regiment that lead the Great Awakening. Without the guidance of these wise men we would still be slaves to England.
I don't go to church for "feel good" sermons. I want to learn something..and, I want to know how my pastor feels about local & national politics. I think it is their duty to discuss these topics with the members.
