Colt Custom 1911.....W/Pics.

Just picked this up the other day. I thought it was a Yost Custom because of the 1*, but I just received a pm from Mr. Yost and he tell's me it's not one of his. He did tell me to check at JoJo's, he said they didn't sell that bushing outside their shop. Who ever did the work sure knew what they were doing. It's very tight and I would say 3 maybe 3.5lb trigger that breaks like glass. What I don't understand is the serial number it has the 70 at the end, while my other 70 Series has 70 at the beginning. Anyway, any and all input would be helpful along with any pictures of 1911's you have. hmm... interesting. Was it Yost that came up with the 1*? Seemed like I thought it was Vickers? Don't put much stock in that... that's just what I thought.

Looks like a nice pistol anyhow, and I've seen some of your other stuff (Chuck Warner's pistol)... I have a feeling you know quality when you see it, so don't sweat it too much!
