I agree. I would rather carry a 1903 or 1908 than a Glock.The earliest (Type 1) had the removable 1911-ish barrel bushing to my imperfect recollection of the one I owned, while the later types (2&3?) had the bushingless enlarged section of barrel up front?
Vestigal sights, mine shot high, grouped very tightly, wonderfully instinctively pointable, Euro/CIP spec ammo (for which it originally designed) is hotter than SAAMI US and gives a real boost to performance, exceptionally EXCEPTIONALLY flat carry gun, and it features an appreciated beefy sear and hammer notch as for safe carry.
One of the few departed guns of mine which I wish I'd kept.
Mine came with the two-tone heat treat original magazine, but it also functioned well with the Triple K magazines, which might work also for others.
