The guy that does the SDA classes in Ada recommends the badges. I cant remember his name.

He aslo sells them if you want one.

I dont know anyone who thinks its a good idea , however i was in the gun store a couple days ago when a guy came in looking for one.

Out of curiosity why does the instructor in Ada reccomend them?

Edit: That's three instructors within a hundred mile radius recommending these things.

I think it's ok for your friend to keep his really cool badges.
He shouldn't wave them around after he shoots some guy for walking down the street, though.
There's a time and a place for everything.

I see a bad day coming in his future. You will be on here posting about a bad contact with a LEO and get banned for it. I say cut ties now with this idiot now before he puts you in a bad position.

And just open carry badges are douchey

Identification, believe it or not ...everyone doesnt want to be a Leo.

Now there are the wannabe's that cause some problems, a badge is really about identification.

Yes I said it, with the shootings , that was referenced earlier, of well meaning carry holders (its not ccw anymore)
identification Might be a good idea.

That being said ,it looks like Most Leo's will take control of the situation ...no matter who shows a badge...(you know you can buy Most law enforcement badges online as well)

And then you have the Leo's that misuse theyre badges, but thats enough of that topic...no Cop bashing here

Naw, he aint getting me into trouble. I just know him at work. He's the only person I know that has one of these badges, and I am curious what OSA members think about these badges. All the junk mail I get related to firearms sell these things. It is plainly obvious that the LEOs on OSA abhor these badges and say they would arrest someone that displays it.

0311, are you sure it's not you?

On the other hand, I was going to offer OSA Badges..................for a price, gentlemen, for a price

Now That would be worth the hassle from the Leo's.......Maybe....(whats your price??? ;) )

edit: that would be Much better than the "junk shakin" I've been hearing about.... ( I dont like my junk shaked...stirred ..Maybe? )
