Me too but the ironic thing is, no one stopped it from going away back in the late 80s or whenever it was. Everyone I knew back in high school carried at least a rifle in a gun rack in the truck and as far as I know there was no permit required to carry any firearm.

I use to walk through our neighborhood carrying a rifle or shotgun headed to the river at the end of the block and nobody ever paid any attention

Yeah i grew up in Texas and we all had guns in our trucks. I am just tired of dumb ass politicians and those who enforce the illegal/unconstitutional laws. I was a LEO for 12 yrs as a reserve and full time. I am sure if others on here see my post that know me will back that what am saying is how i really was and am. I told every department that i will uphold my oath to protect the Constitution, and that means i will not enforce any gun law.

Just read on KRMG app that Fallin sighne stand your ground law to include churches it also said she is still considering constitutional carry
