COOL Find Today.

Acquired this little piece of History today. Walther Model 2 .22LR made in the 30's-early 40's and used by the Germans as a Trainer Pre WWII. Even has that Mauser Look to it.

It is VERY unique in that it can be fired as a Semi-Auto, or Bolt Action. The bolt is pulled down into the first detent for firing in bolt action, or pulled back and released and left horizontal to fire semi-auto. All the Proofs and Stamps are clear and legible, Including The Eagle and Crown over Nitro Proofs.

Thanks been.....After a trip to the Range for Functional check, it'll Be up for Sale. I ran a couple of primer rounds thru it in the B-yard, and it spit 8 L/R's outa the Mag by hand really good, so Im sure its a Shooter.

Thanks Guys. Perp, it was on onea My weekly P-shop runs. The guy had just taken it in, and showed it to Me. I had to wait 10 days before He could sell it and was just able to pick it up this morning. Its Pretty Neat. To tear it down, the saftey "wing" at the back has to be put in a vertical position. You then pull the bolt back to the second notch, push fwd on the safety, and the whole back of the receiver block comes up and out, kinda like an SKS.

I started researchin it over a week ago, and just happened on the Youtube Video today. The Vid is of a Model 1 with a 5rd Mag. This Model 2 I have, I thought was 10rd, but it holds 8.
