Been a Coors, Miller, Budwiser drinker most of my life, enjoy just a few little darker Yingling, Amber Doseqis XXX I never could get used to "Lite" twang of any brand just for my taste background.

I had a friend that I tried several NA beers with just as a test. Just for sitting down and having a NA beer, myself I found PBR (Papts Blue Ribbon) NA to be the most "real beer" tasting of many NA's I tried with her.

Don't know for sure, but I heard the "New Coke" debacle a few years back was caused by the FDA telling Coke that their 0.9% Alcohol content of regular Coke for years was now unacceptable and needed to be changed. New Coke was a failure and the FDA backed off to allow a slow change rather than making it all at once.

Good luck at finding something acceptable to your taste buds.

I disagree, I have had some very good cocktails that the bartender made me that had no alcohol.
Mocktails and fake whiskey are two different things entirely.

Most places offer a decent menu of mocktails these days. None offer straight up fake spirits. There is a reason for that.

A lot of mocktails are made with ginger beer like Q. It has the bite without the alcohol.
