They should have left her alone, not that there is an excuse for spraying bodily fluids at someone though. Was it assault? I would say no.

Me and the wife did some research on this when she was trying to breast feed, the amount of alchol in your milk mimics your blood/alchol level, and the alchol will leave the milk in your breast just like it does in your blood.
