Simmons bank took over our local Landmark bank(s). Got this in an email today:

To our customers,

We encourage you to use our drive-through windows, ATMs and digital banking tools to conduct your banking business while minimizing your exposure to others.

This was March 13. I received another email today, and Simmons has went from "encouraging" drive-through, to this:

...Simmons will provide drive-thru service only at most of our branch locations, with appointments as needed for lobby access. We have also made the decision to temporarily close some of our locations...

Personally, I believe this is all a scheme by David Payne because of the mild winter we have had. Maybe he needs a bump in his Dollar Tree portfolio...
