Now that might well be relevant! The slide itself doesn't count as a "gun." Frame is, of course, and for someone from out of state, would require a FFL transfer, the 4473, etc. I've "recently" built a 1903A3 Frankenfield rifle through another site, and shipped to my favorite pawn shop, now closed, so I've lost my FFL for such transfers. May have to ask at GunWorld and see if they do them, and what they charge, but not right now. Can't even do a FTF at the moment, though there's an old colt revolver I'd love to have on this site right now. Gotta save my pennies at least until after the court date for a traffic ticket I'm fighting.
