I would guess that Old Bill has had so much water under his bridge, he could easily not remember.
Seems like he is a pretty open book in sharing his journey and where he got his ideas from.
I would like to just know what he has forgot about gun smithing.
You well could be right though.

Yeah, there are a lot of secrets out there and some will never been widely known or talked about as general public knowledge. Some people made a name for themselves and others didn't, but all of them have made significant contributions to 1911 customization and gunsmithing even if we don't know who they were. It's managed to keep JMB's design relative for over a hundred years which is mighty impressive.

I appreciate the responses and willingness to share a little history of some talented gunsmiths that called the area around Tulsa home. I think it's something that we can take a little pride in.
