Steve Baldwin has worked on 3 of my rifles. A weatherby ultra-light that grouped terrible imo. Put a Hart barrel on it, fluted it, had it cera coated, put a jewel trigger in it. Rem 700 .308 PSS, blue printed and accurized, 4R barrell that he fluted and had cera coated, jewel trigger. Shoots and runs great. Rem 700 22-250 ditto above except Hart barrel, it's for sale in the classified section with pics. He does outstanding work, turn around time is "reasonable". Deffinately recommend him.

This question has been asked several times, so here's a list of precision bolt action gunsmiths. All of them work on Remington/Remington clone actions, some work on Winchester, Tikka and Howa actions as well. Feel free to add additional "reputable" shops to the list.

As always, do your homework before choosing someone to work on your rifle. Custom rifle building is expensive but once you have one you'll wish you had done it sooner.
