The little post next to the big house
I put Talley rings on mine. Fit is perfect, and you'll find out that the 452 is a little finicky with rings.

Height needed will vary with the scope you use. I had a 3-9x33 Leupold on it, but swapped it for a 2-7x28. Makes for a great squirrel gun.

---EDIT---

I went and dug up some old stuff on Rimfire Central.

Some handy math...

This isn't an exact answer, and outer diameter of the scope and head position preferences play a role. Bolt handle clearance can factor in with low rings.

To get an estimate of ring height required:

1. Divide the objective lens by 2. (44/2=22)
2. Subtract 1/2 the thickness of the scope tube (1"=25.4mm 25.4/2=12.7mm 22mm-12.7mm=9.3mm (.366") <---- that's the minimum height required)
3. Now that you have the estimate, err on the high side to account for the outer shell of the scope around the objective lens.

You're going to need to start around .375" or .400"

These Talley rings will work Each 1/10th inch = 2.54mm:

Part number / Height

100004 .400"
100005 .500"
100006 .600"

Those are $69 each. The "rimfire" rings are $49, and come in 2 sizes:

Part number / Height

22RFRL .300"
22RFRH .600"

From Leupold ring height information:
40mm OBJECTIVES will almost always have enough clearance with LOW rings in a given
style, though MEDIUM rings will give slightly more clearance, particularly when using a barrel with a thicker shank portion or a
heavier contour.

Leupold does not list CZ in their list of manufacturers and only the 527 and 550 on their chart.

Talley list rings for CZ 452 American but only in 1".

In my limited experience Burris has work and the BKL seem very popular.
