I see that CZ is dropping many product offerings on their pistols. So I just ordered a shadow ts2. I find out it is discontinued for 2024. I guess that's why there are all those deals out there. Kind of disappointing for me. The shadow 2 seem to be popular. The industry has made so many clones on the cz75 pattern there should be parts out there for a long time.

I don't think you're gonna see the CZ75 line go away. Replaced maybe.

CZ is starting to make me doubt my loyalty to their brand,,,
Which is a crying shame as I own several of them.

I bought the CZ-75B Kadet pistol,,,
They discontinued it.

I bought the CZ 512 Rifle,,,
They discontinued it.

I bought the CZ 512 Carbine,,,
They discontinued it.

With CZ's less than stellar reputation for parts for their current models,,,
What is going to happen if I need a part for a discontinued gun?

My CZ 75B is still on their website,,,
My CZ 457 Varmint AT-1 is still on their website.

The question for me is,,,
For how long?

I really enjoy shooting my 512's,,,
But I'm wondering if I shouldn't sell them,,,
They are both relatively new so now would be the time.

Perhaps it's time to embrace a maker that's more stable,,,
A couple of custom 10/22's could replace the 512's,,,
And I wouldn't need to be worried about parts,,,
10/22 stuff is readily available everywhere.

It would be difficult to replace my Kadet though,,,
I've never encountered a duty styled .22,,,
That shoots as well as the Kadet,,,
Maybe a Sig Sauer.

Oh well I'm just musing.
