I don't want to see putin win anything, but I can see your point.
Billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars have gone to graft and corruption in that country never reaching the front-line troops, but to his credit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has fired dozens of corrupt military and government officials to at least make an attempt to show the most corrupt country on earth is making some attempt to appear legit when getting foreign aid from the US and other countries.
While feathering his own nest. Not that he's an exception to the rules there. Human nature is human nature.

There is a long complex history with this war , and quite simple put the Ukrainians aren't anymore the good guys here than the Russians are the bad guys . Its also disingenuous to continue making the claim Putin wants to reconstitute the Soviet Union , that ship sailed when the USSR broke apart . It was no longer tenable to do, this war has happened because we didn't honor our agreements about trying to influence former Soviet republics and have been encroaching into Russia's back door .

Its actually no different than what we did with Central and South America oh and Cuba and Grenada .

I am not fan of Russians but I am also not a fan of Ukraine they've been a money laundering machine for corrupt politicians in this country and we don't need involved in Eastern Europe to be fair our best chance at a third world war isn't in the Middle East its Eastern Europe if we keep trying to encroach closer to the Russian Border and let's be clear . Everyone will end up losing in the long run because the Russians will very possibly feel compelled to use a nuke at some point .

Zelensky (forgive my spelling) is the center of the corruption. Painting him as some sort of hero would seem pretty ignorant at this point. I won't go into details for fear that all of my words will fall upon deaf ears.

Here is another analysis of Russia's military. I don't know about the source of the video, but they do expound on some of General Petraeus' comments.

Here's info on the video source...https://mediarena.com/3443/review/youtube-channels-reviews/the-military-show-review

As for Gen. Petraeus, given his record is he a trustworthy source?

Russia is having problems according to most military sources. They are having to pull old equipment out of storage because of combat loses and not being able to build much new because of the embargos. Many of their ships are laid up or in refit (including their one carrier) Also having problems paying their troops.
