Dahlgren Lake

How good is the bass fishing from shore at Dahlgren Lake in the Lexington WMA? Is October a fairly good month there?

Ive never had any luck there, try the smaller ponds out at lexington. I have caught tons of
Smaller bass in them

don't know about bank fishing but tubing can be a really good time. i've had some good days on dalgren in a tube. i did catch the biggest crappie i have ever seen from the bank though. i think its called davis? pond is really good also. not alot of big fish but lots to catch.

I've had no luck fishing from the bank anywhere in the OKC area

All water except for Dahlgren are closed during the first part of archery season. I think they open back up in December after the deer gun season.
