Please do a search. We've discussed this at length before. But bottom line.... This is a PRO-gun act by Mr. Boren, not an anti-gun one. Every study ever done on this nonsense shows again and again that it doesnt work, and is a huge waste of money, and Mr. Boren knows the results will be the same this time. But, the more ammunition, the better, in terms of sheer number of studies, when this nonsense inevitably rears its ugly head next time as an actual proposal. Right now, the UN is pushing this with a proposed treaty, which treaty develepment the current O admin (surpise!) supports fully.
