Dan Combs S&W 686 Commemorative

Looking to get a little help and information.

Have access to a S&W 686 that is in a presentation case with the designation "Captain Dan Combs Commemorative".

Gun is unfired with all of the original parts, badges, etc. Even the Original cardboard case.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this or if there was anyone that is a Oklahoma Highway Patrol collector or S&W Collector that can give me some help.

Actually, I'm trying to find a value for it.

Friend of mine purchased it from someone and might want to sell it, but we really don't have an idea as to value.
I'm guessing around the 2K+ area.

Listed to him speak from 5:32 to 6:01. Very relevant with everything going on today.

Always looked forward to his fast draw safety talk in HS. In his day you had to be 6 ft tall to apply for the academy.
I grabbed one at a gun show about 20 years ago 500$.
